I started my career with Bailey Travel in 1983.
After 2 years, I got married and moved to Chicago working for a
large corporate agency.
In 1990 we moved back
to York
and I came back to Bailey Travel doing corporate sales.
In 1999 I was promoted to Vice President.
I still do corporate reservations full time, which is
what I really
enjoy. I
got into the travel business because I love booking trips for people and
18 years later, I still love what I do.
We also have an excellent staff, which makes it easier to manage
the office.
MY TRAVELS: I love to travel!
Some of my favorite trips have been
Hawaii, Germany/Austria, Hong Kong, Grand Cayman, and the Canadian
Rockies.

I
am proud to say all 16
years of my travel career have been at Bailey Travel.
I enjoy corporate travel because of the opportunity I
get in building special friendships with my accounts.
After all, I may speak to the same person 2-3
times a
day. Corporate
travel has provided me with the knowledge of
international destinations that most people have never even
heard of let alone traveled too. The travel
industry is always changing and presenting new
challenges to
face everyday and that makes for an interesting and enjoyable career!
MY
TRAVELS:
I have had many wonderful experiences on my travels throughout the
years: Alaska, Canadian Rockies, Hawaii, Ireland and many of the Caribbean
Islands, but my favorite way to travel is cruising.

I
started in the travel business by attending York Technical Institute for
Travel/Tourism. Following
that, I worked at United Airlines in Washington
Dulles.
A
few years later, I moved
back to the York area and was hired by Bailey Travel.
I truly enjoy working in
corporate travel.
MY
TRAVELS:
My first flight was over the Atlantic ocean
to London. This was
quite a long haul, but it broke me into my
first taste of economy class.
I have visited many U.S.
cities, including Hawaii. My favorite US destination is
Denver
(GO BRONCOS!). My favorite over all place I visited
was Ireland, I would love
to go back soon.

I
started in travel in 1995. I truly love what I do.
Each day is never the same.
I enjoy building relationships with our customers. It is
wonderful to be able to provide that personal service that is
never found on a travel website!

I love to travel. Some of my favorites are Grand
Cayman,
St Kitts and Vegas!

EXPERIENCE:
19 years in the

I
started working in the travel industry with American Express
out of Houston, Texas in August 1988. I was attending System
One Travel Academy and Amex had just acquired the Shell Oil
account and needed corporate agents. They came to the school and
interviewed all the students. Only 9 were called for a second
interview and 5 of us were eventually hired. I worked for 12
years with Amex on many corporate accounts including Aspen Tech, 2
years with a meeting planning company, 3 years for Aspen Tech in
the travel department. The last two years working out of my home
in Houston for Bailey Travel on the Aspen Tech account (that
they now have).
MY
TRAVELS: My
favorite place to visit is Mexico. I've traveled to
Europe, Hawaii,
Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Australia and New Zealand
in addition to two 7 day Royal Caribbean cruises to the
western Caribbean.
