I
have been in the travel business for over 22 years, of which
the last 9
have been with Bailey Travel. Over the years, I have booked
corporate as
well as leisure travel. The last 5 years have been
dedicated to the group department. Planning everything from
accommodations & transportation,
to meals, tickets, & activities for any kind of
groups from any type of
organizations to corporate incentives.
I have booked travel all over the
globe, from 1 person to 150 people. My
personal travels have taken me to many destinations within the
United
States, including Disney& Hawaii. Also, Canada, Europe,
South America,
and some of the Caribbean Islands.
As part of our group team, I take the extra time to help
personalize your
trip based on your needs.

I
have been actively involved in travel since 1962.
At that time I was a
music student at West Chester
University and during summer vacations,
directed group
tours throughout the United States.
My first European
experience came in 1963 when he
escorted a group of music students to
Paris, France to
purchase musical instruments and visit the homes of famous
French composers. |

During
the summers of 1964 & 1965 I conducted many large groups
to the
New York World’s Fair.
After graduation Il attended graduate school at
Ithaca College and spent summers escorting groups to major
music festivals throughout Europe.
For
the past 35 years I was director of Bands at Central York
School District.
During
those years I continued to direct and travel with student
music
organizations throughout the world completing 14 European concert tours
and additional
tours to Hawaii, Singapore, Thailand and Japan.
In addition,
I worked with student musical
organizations, planning and directed adult
groups to
Europe, Mexico, Central America, Hawaii, Bermuda, the
Caribbean
Islands, Egypt and Israel.
Upon
retirement, my experience in-group travel led to a part
time position
with Bailey Travel where I am tour director and
coordinator of group tours.

I am
excited to have recently joined the Bailey family. I have many
years in the tourism industry. I was past president of
Gettysburg Convention and Visitors Bureau, And have worked with the
Gettysburg/Adams County Chamber of Commerce. I'm also a member
of the White Rose chapter of the USA Ballroom Dancers.
I look forward to helping your organization plan the perfect group
or incentive. |
